Profile Verification Policy
PassionFairy profile verification is an admin profile-approval badge. It means the profile was reviewed for completeness and platform-rule compliance. It is not legal identity verification, not age-document verification, and not a guarantee that a person is safe or trustworthy.
1. What admin checks
Admin may review profile photo, cover photo, role, location, gender, orientation, profile highlight, “What I Offer” text, public posts, contact-detail guardrails, safety reports, and visible rule-compliance signals.
2. Verification statuses
- Verified: profile appears complete enough and compliant with the platform rules reviewed by admin.
- Needs changes: profile needs edits before it can receive or keep the badge.
- Rejected: profile has serious issues or does not meet the current review rules.
- Unverified: profile has not been approved yet.
3. Verified badge limits
A Verified badge does not guarantee identity, age-document verification, content ownership, relationship outcome, offline safety, income, gifts, responsiveness, or user behaviour. Users must still use caution, respect boundaries, report concerns, and keep public contact details off the platform.
4. Badge removal
PassionFairy may remove verification, mark a profile as Needs changes, reject a profile, or suspend an account if the profile changes, receives safety reports, posts rule-breaking content, shares prohibited public contact details, or appears fake, unsafe, misleading, or incomplete.
5. Future age or ID checks
A stronger age or ID verification system may be added later if the platform chooses to collect and protect sensitive documents. That would need separate privacy, storage, review, retention, and deletion rules before launch.
This is starter legal and policy copy for the PassionFairy test build. Before public launch, ask a qualified South African attorney, privacy/compliance specialist, and payment-policy specialist to review and finalise it.
